utp is the worse place ever to study in. please, i advice you, no matter how cool it is to be studying in a petronas university, please, please do not study here.

you will die.

go study at uitm instead. or overseas. like in my case, my mum just cant let me go, so, im stuck here, unfortunately.

it’s so stressful to study here. you have the people to deal with, the HEAT, the place, the FOOD, the confusing buildings, the REGISTRATIONS that are so irrelavant. the lecturers (not all, though. some are GREAT).

the stupid sorry reason for a website.

no three, actually.

the main utp one.

the stupid barnacle-head elearning where you have to download your notes for 6 different subjects and there’s no guarantee that it will load, the latest news where you will have to read everyday.

and yeah, as for the most of us, elearning is actually one of our homepage. our lives revolve around it.

and last but not least, the muthalicking ptms aka performance tracking monitoring system.

where we register for labs, tutorials and sometimes, lectures.

where the page will either..

1. load

2. load and remain at the login page no matter what you click or clack

3. not load or go the server took too long to respond bla bla bla

4. a blank page appears every single time

5. crashes, which happens too often

6. go haywire, where take for example, the group that you intend to register appears empty or has 20 more spaces, but in actual fact is full, like 4 hours ago.

7. states that you’ve registered for the course, when you’ve never ever you swear have never logged into ptms

8. unrefreshable

9. server cant be found

10. cant ever ever log in even you’ve been trying to access it for 10 hours straight, no matter where you are, in or out of utp or at the comp lab or your friends room at another block or the comp in the irc (no kidding)

chances of getting num 1 is like erm..

NEVER.

okok, maybe like 2 out of 23 tries. SERIOUS.

see how STRESSED i am??

ive been trying to register my classes and the only ones that i got according to what i wanted was only chem lab.

even physics and call (computer assisted language lab) lab had to switch to accomodate my hectic schedule.

and english tutorial is soooooooooooooo fcked up.

and icis (introductory to computers information system) is argh i dunno.

i have been trying to register emaths (engineering maths) since LAST WEEK. goddammit.

and on monday, ive classes from 9am to 4pm with NO break in between.

and rush rush from physics lecture to lab which is the other end and back to lecture halls for icis and another lec hall for chem. WTH???

im so tired. and ptms is such a vile skank.

im so stressed up.

and in uitm, theyve no such thing as registering for all these. WHY??

and we’re suppose to be a private uni? we’re petronas/mara scholars.

but yet?

utp is still far from GOOD. or even satisfactory.

coz up till now, to us, youre just a stinking sucky place that needs to be out of denial.

lecturers and the top guns of utp, please, you can start by opening your eyes big big and see what kind of students you actually have.

well-rounded graduates?

it’s a pity that you dont even know who are you dealing with. as a student from pj, no wonder ‘…….’ people all die when they go to the colleges in kl or overseas.

thank God my mum is from singapore. thank God im mixed. thank God my friends are all chinese and the cool modern malays. thank God i can speak english.

thank God that im not a typical malay girl. not wanting to be rude but sometimes, we should move towards better things.

i wish they knew.

Thank God im different but not too different. at least i still now where my roots were from, unlike some wild dotdotdots.
