And last week, when I was on the way to Avenue K to meet my dad for lunch at Dunkins, I bumped into Elly! OMG I miss all my Petrosains buddies! It’s quite a let down because I couldnt attend the reunion this june. (Pssst… Make one at the end of the year laaa..)

Anyhoo, while we’re chatting, Aiman & Shuk appeared.

Sigh. I was extremely looking forward to go for the reunion. I madly miss Nitha, Sab, Hazra, Amir.. yadda yadda yadda. AAAAAAAAAHHHHH.

Yeah, I am as frustrated as you guys reading the same thing I’ve been saying over and over again.

Anyhoooos. I was at KLCC that day because I went to TTFC – Twin Towers Fitness Centre.. yeah.. a GYM. Seriously, I need to seriously workout because seriously I am like so morbidly obese argh and I have been obsessed with the treadmill ever since I first laid eyes on them and I need to satisfy my.. needs. Yeah, the need to be with a treadmill.

TTFC is quite nice because it’s not too huge, okay, excluding the stairs. Which I bet you they purposely built it on purpose to make us burn even more calories even after having shaking legs from running on the treadmill too much. I HATE THE STAIRS. Theyre too high.

And I always go in the morning because there’s not many people. Mostly theyre Mat Sallehs and body builders and the hot mamas who have nothing to do but to stay slim and sexy and have people like me to drool around them. But most of them are nice. When you walk past them, there’ll be exchanging of smiles, hellos, good mornings, how are yous, are you finisheds, the sauna’s fine today, leaving already.. etc. People there are friendly. ;)

The only only thing that I loathe is the MIRROR. They’re the head-to-toe mirrors which surround you and shows you how fat and flabby you are when you exercise. And I was telling Bee Trice about it the other day when she called and all she did was laugh HAHAHAHAHAHA and HAHAHAHAHA and more HAHAHAHAs.

Ah Bee, I can’t wait for you to come home! And Chiew Yi who has completely forgotten me which, by the way, I hope knows when she’s coming back. I’d love to see you at the airport.

I am currently alternating between wordpress, facebook & lolcats so I find it so hard to concentrate on blogging. This is not good. No No not good. I miss my dear lolcats & dogs. They’re HILARIOUS hahaha. I has a thousand plus pictures of them in a folder last time. Then I stopped going to that site because of.. Hmm.. I wonder why.

Facebook succeeded in making me addicted to the quizzes (seems like everyone’s been having the quiz fever, since like.. 10 years ago..) for 5 minutes. I think the quizzes on Tickle are much better or even blogthings and do you know that Tickle is now closed? WTH man, it’s SO stupid, I made a few “How well do you know me” quizzes on Tickle which was very witty & fun and poof it’s just gone like that.

Argh.

I’m lazy to create another “How well do you know me” quiz. I hate stereotype straight-to-the-point quizzes. So boring. And I’m bored of the quizzes over at fb. It irks me that some creators can’t even spell right! ARGH! Things like these bugs me… For example.. Emidietly. What the heck is that.

Ehem.

I can’t believe that I’m leaving for Umrah this Saturday. It’s so FAST. And so sudden. I’m not sure if I’m fully prepared. Or if I’m gonna screw it up, boy, the consequences are gonna be HUGE (in an American accent). We’re leaving on Saturday afternoon on board Garuda to Jakarta and putting up there for a day. Then to Madinah for one & a half days and the rest will me in Mekah.

Will be there for 2 weeks without any phone. Coz I’m not allowed. So… Don’t think I died because I didn’t reply okay.

Oh and I’ll surely write a journal. God knows how many people have been telling me that. And if I’m ‘rajin’, I’d even blog all about it for uh.. nobody but me to read it. And I’ll throw in some pictures to keep you coming back to my blog.

I sound so pathetic. Hahahaha. Kidding.

I’m sending Cooqee to the Vet tomorrow morning. Huu. She’ll be staying there for 2 weeks. Here’s what my dad said about the whole thing :

“I bet you when we pick her up after that two weeks, she’ll be very thin. Percayalah.”

And that got my mum nodding her hear vigorously. All I did was “No lah. Won’t be until like that lah.” I trust my Vet & his crew because basically they’re really really superb at their job. It’s like how Bee & I would handle animals. It doesn’t matter if Cooqee lose some weight, she’s rather round. NO kidding. Anyway, there’s that thick coat of fur to camoflauge (is this spelled wrongly, just ignore, I’m multi-tabbing-ly sleep deprived) her skinnyness.

I don’t know why she looks so YELLOW & I’m too lazy to edit the picture. She was on my room telly and my parents were waving my fur scrunchie.

Fur. Her favourite toy. And it’s not cheap. That’s why I’m always chasing after her when she steals my scrunchie/keychain.

This is Cooqee eating her patch of crass specially planted for her. Yeah, she always have that ‘the-sun’s-too-bright-why-don’t-I-have-sunnies-huh’ look.

This is my bro with our ‘ritual’ or we call it The Nasumeyah aka coming of age ceremony we both perform on ALL our cats. It’s adapted from the Lion King where Rafiki held Simba/Kiara up. My parents did the translations for that movie before it was released here like.. YEARS back so it’s their favourite Disney movie too.

I can’t wait to came home and start gym-ing again and then head over to Kino to get more books. I’ve finally got my grubby hands on the Castle series by Diana Wynne Jones. They’re AWESOME. It’s simple but very unputdownable. I was supposed to read House of Many Ways when I finish Eldest (still being postponed) & A Spot of Bother but just one tiny peek and when I realized, it was too late. I finished it already. In less than 4 hours.

The other night I wanted to start on Castle in The Air as my midnight read, instead of my usual Betty & Veronica, but I couldn’t concentrate so muahaha I’m saving that for later.

The next book on my list is definitely There’s Something Wrong With Me by Nigel Smith. It’s a morbid humour about dying. I JUST GOT TO HAVE IT.

And also I shall get the Chrestomanci series. And the Inkspell trilogy. And then Brisgr.

MUAHAHA.

Plus I have to stop reading Russell’s True Singapore Ghost Stories. I am having plays in my head and it’s driving me half nuts. Everytime I step into Kino, the first thing I’ll take is TSGS. I even remember some of the stories. There was this lady who had a daughter who had an ‘imaginary’ friend who has no name who turned out to be a baby she aborted and then her kid died. And her new son has 2 ‘imaginary’ friends who are her late daughter and the no name kid… AAAAAHHHHHHHHH I can’t do this I can’t do this. Continue typing and I’ll start wetting my knickers.

When I was at my aunt’s, I created this character called “I’m Coming”. It just popped into my head because my aunt’s house is huge and dark and… dark. So to keep her kids (I was the governess, remember..) on their good behaviour and to entertain them, I’ll be like.. “If you cry, I’ll lock you in the toilet and off the lights. You can sit with I’m Coming who is next to you, on top of you, in front of you and behind you.” and voila, crying stops.

If you still don’t get it, I’m Coming = Hantu = Ghost.

We always follow the ghost stories during our tv time (9pm onwards) and whenever it starts when my aunt or I’m busy doing something, the little eleves will be shouting… “Kakak Shahirah/Mama! Cerita I’m Coming dah start!”

Once we were in the car and this song had the words I’m Coming in it. I think it was sang by Miley Cyrus and she kept on repeating.. I’m coming.. I’m coming.. and so I was like.. “You see, even I’m Coming has a song” and of course it was followed by “Kakak Shahirah TIPUUUU!!”, “No.. No.. where got?”, (slaps) “Diam la Haziq, I want to hear the song!” and finally.. “Eh…. BETUL LAH. I’m coming I’m coming!!” (screams)

And then my auntie will enter the car and go.. “What.. what happen?”

All of us : No nothing. =D

Ahh. I miss them. All three of them. And my kindy kids. I wanna go back there after I get back from Umrah. I wanna start studying next year. I love love love kids. ;)

I have a new phone.

It’s the F480! The PINK one. I know right.. that’s like the cooooolest thing ever hahahahahaha how lame can I be.

I still have yet to transfer pictures into my lappie but I’m such a lazy sloth to do it. Anyway this is what my awesome phone looks like :

Review :

It looks so TINY here but in reality it’s much bigger. And I was really contemplating of getting the Omnia while in the shop but then my mum was like.. You’ve always wanted a pink phone.. So I made up my mind to get the F480. When it arrived, we just melted! It was in such a sweet pink glossy colour and it came together with this pink flap cover! And pink earphones.. :D

So worth it!

My dad got me the 8Gb memory card and I depend more on my iPod for music so.. there’s plenty of room for pictures! The F480 is a wonderful phone if youre considering an above average touch screen phone that has both looks and features. The camera is 5MP and the pictures are great, if it doesn’t you call always edit it. Editing is fun! All the warping and the styles to choose from. Even my mum’s SE C905 is not as fun as mine.

I was really really elated for getting this phone but the ONE thing that made me disappointed was that you can’t use the stylus on the F480. I thought it was and my dad already asked the lady to take out a Samsung stylus (the cool black pull-out one) and then I found out that it’s really a TOUCH phone. But the keys are pretty huge so even a hippo like me can use it.

The widgets are ultimately CUTE and handy. They have all the basic needs like messages, time, date, calendar, memo, bluetooth etc. And I like it because it doesn’t lag. And all you need is a very very light touch to move it around.

The speakers are VERY clear, as one would expect from a Samsung gagdet and the video calls are clear, fast and the screen is big. Calls are quite clear although the volume are quite tricky to adjust. Other than that, it’s just fine.

Messaging is also quite tricky but once you get used to it, it’s fast. The keys are ultra sensitive like instead of pressing space, you would’ve accidentally pressed w. But there’s always the T9 function which I hate using. If you request a delivery report, it actually comes as a SMS instead of just informing you that it’s delivered like a SE phone. Thus the ‘event’ widget comes in handy.

Hmm. What else.

Battery life is LONG. Seriously, after heavy usage of calls/sms/photos/music, I charge my phone once every 3-4 days. It takes just a couple of hours to be fully charged. You can also charge it via your comp/lappie if it’s connected. If you connected it to your comp, you can manage your phone pretty much.. everything. But it’s quite slow. So, be patient.

The internet is quite speedy, but it does not really remember your info like the username/passsword unlike my previous SE. So it’s a hassle to log in everytime you go online. Navigating a page is very simple but sometimes it could get on your nerve because the stupid button is so small and you’ve to click it like 3 or 4 times for it to enter. Other than that, it’s pretty much smooth sailing.

The manual book that came with it is quite.. USELESS. I discovered more by exploring and clicking every button I see. Even if I’ve done it a thousand times, I’ll always discover something new. So, don’t depend on that lame manual, play around with the phone. In a few hours, you should know everything in and out.

All in all, I’m MEGA happy with my gorgeous phone! It’s cute and pretty much packs everything I want in a phone plus I’ve always wanted a touch phone. And it’s pink.

I love pink. Need I say more?

I’m back home! I came home on the 24th of April. And we straightway went for Sushi King! IT WAS MINDBLOWING. I was so deprived of good food! Then my dad took us to get my new phone. :D It was a shocker. I didn’t know it would be that quick! It’s my birthday present from him. I took like.. 30 minutes to decide. I never liked any of the SE touchies (ew so uglehh) so it didn’t take that long.

But the wait was long. Like more than an hour.

Anyhoo, the next day, we headed to Melaka for our Umrah preperation course. By 2pm, we’re headed back home. And I don’t remember what we did the days after that.

A few days back, the family went to Times Square’s Cosmo’s Park (or something like that, God knows..) because my parents got free tickets from Berjaya. But before that, we went to Krispy Kreme!

At first we just wanted to grab a bite for breakfast and just order like 4 doughnuts but it was toooooo @__@ for my dad & I and we ended up picking up an extra 2.

We tried :

and I’ve forgotten one more. Hmm.

My parents was talking to some guy who was one of the people who got KK into Msia since the very beginning of stepping into KK till we left. I was eyeing MY glazed doughnut but got distracted into serving my parents their drinks and wipe spills till my mum and bro ate my glazed.

So okay, I thought. That’s no big deal. I came into KK for the glazed one only but that’s okay.

Then my mum asked that particular guy to get me another and my dad was like ‘I’ll give you 5 bucks can you please run down and get one pretty please’ and I was in the ‘No it’s okay no need for any trouble really’ mode. And anyhoooo, he came up with 2 piping HOT glazed doughnuts for us! =DDD

it was just… out-of-this-world. It MELTS in your mouth! What else could I say?!

On the other hand, the others weren’t as good. The cheesecake was tooooo sweet, the strawberry tooooo sweet, the custard SUCKS but the Hersheys one was not bad. =)

I’d definitely come back for the Original Glazed. It was just fantastic. Superb. A1. Tooo good. Take it and goooo!

But one is enough. It’s just TOOOO sweet!

My favourite doughnut at heart are still no doubt.. Dunkin’ Donuts! And JCo’s excellent too. Number one is that theyre just averagely sweet and it’s moderate. I like moderate stuffs. But ohmygod KK’s glazed is just simply.. spectacular.

YUM.

Next we headed off to the theme park where the first ride we wrote was the Izzy Dizzy. I was with my dad and my mum + bro. At first I was excited. Then when it started we were lifted and tiltled like.. 45 degrees.. then I got hysterical. My dad was like all happy and shouty and going.. “Don’t worry, I’m here!” which made me even more scared. So I was like screaming.. I DON’T WANTTTTTT!!! throughout the freaking ordeal.

Yeah.

I hate rides.

So we went to the kiddy rides which were no thrill at all.. but some was okay. AHAHAHA. The best was the BUMPER CARS!!! OMGGG I LOOOOOOOOOOVE bumper cars. I was driving with only one hand and my mum was screaming her head off from beginning to end. xD

Yesterday, my mum took my bro & I to Mid Valley to meet up with her friend. We took the LRT to Sentral and then the Komuter. MANNNN I LOOOVE TRAINS! :D And Komuter is so modern now! I remember we used to wait for AGES for a Komuter and now it’s also.. ages. But not as long as last time.

My bro & I watch Paul Blart : Mall Cop which was HILARIOUS! We enjoyed it! How much? We both didnt even finish the sushi and snack we bought before that. It was a LOL moment every scene. It would’ve been better if I weren’t seated next to a bunch or high pitched BIMBOTIC ____ chicks. ARGH! Theyre were SO ANNOYING.

Loser 1 : OMG! What is that??? (pointing to a segway) Tak pernah nampak!!

(after repeating that a MILLION times, which prompted her fellow friends to follow suit…)

ChiRa : (turning to my bro) Abang, that SEGWAYYYYY is so nice kan? Kan best kalau kita ada kat rumah.

Abang : YEAH.

Losers : (turns their heads towards me) *Silence*

And the one next to me had her STUPID handphone which was receiving smses every 5 seconds in her hand and pointing that glaring white light towards me. ARGH.

And their stupid giggles, their stupidity… man. It’s very irritating. Thank GOD the movie was funny enough from making me grab and stuff all their popcorns into their ears. GAAAAAH.

Then we went to KLCC to wait for my dad to finish work. We spent time at Kino (Did you know that Heidi Klum is pregnant???) and I was searching for an ice-skating mag but I think that only Popular’s having it (I’m going there tomorrow while waiting for my bro’s clay lesson) and a couple of books which was out of stock.

ChiRa : Excuse me, do you have Brisngr?

Lady at counter : I’m sorry. It’s out of stock.

C : But it’s out of stock since like.. weeks ago.

LAC : Yeah, it’s always like that. Sold out once stock gets here.

C : When’s the new ones coming?

LAC : Sorry, I don’t know.

Dang. It’s ALWAYS like that. BOOO. That’s why I normally get my books from Borders or Popular. I only get my mangas from Kino.

Talking of mangas.. I was going through my Tsubasa series and I’m up to book 15.. Ever since I entered UTP, I’ve never updated my manga.. and poof.. I saw book 20 yest.

Then we went shopping at Isetan for fresh fruits and SUSHI (BWAAHAHAHA MORE SUSHI) and snacks…. which were pineapple chips and muesli.

Oh I was suppose to blog about my 8 week stunt at the kindy but I’m too tired plus I’ve to eat dinner and go watch tv. Can you believe it the only tv i watch is… Beauty & The Geek and some new cute shows on CN and The Nanny (if my parents are out). And I like Letitia (frm B&TG) very very much. She’s gorgeous and nice. Very nice. :)

I hope ANTM (the latest season.. 12? 13? 14?) reaches V channel soon. :(

And Pam : Girl On The Loose is such a boring show. Even Denise Richards : It’s Complicated is much much more interesting than that. I need a good tv fix. Argh.

There’s this new show on CN which is called Chowder. I’m so in love with it. And Phineas & Ferb? Hilarious as EVER!

 

I LOVE CHOWDER. but I seem to miss the show often. And so far I’ve been watching the same episode (the bubblegum one) 3 times.

But it’s okay. :D

Today, later in the evening, I received a call from NST that I won a special consolation prize for their Mother’s Day letter writing contest. I got 2 vouchers for spa massages at Shangri-La Hotel in Putrajaya! It’s good lah, at least I got something. It was’t very good, what I wrote, it was done in 2 – 3 hours but I liked it. :D

HEEEEEE.

I’ve really gtg. And the next time I blog.. will be.. hmm.. .7 more months. HAHHA. Kidding.
