You have received this note because someone thinks you are a literary geek. Copy the questions into your own note, answer the questions, and tag any friends who would appreciate the quiz, including the person who sent you this.

1) What author do you own the most books by?
No doubt Enid Blyton. She’s the first author I’ve ever known. My first book was The Teddy Bear’s Tale (or was it Tail…) & Other Short Stories. And I’m still having the book ’till today!

2) What book do you own the most copies of?
READER’S DIGEST.

3) Did it bother you that both those questions ended with prepositions?
Not at all. Couldn’t be bothered. I just read.

4) What fictional character are you secretly in love with?
None. I get over them once I start another book.

4a) What fictional character would you most like to be?
Coraline’s other mum. The one with buttons for eyes!

4b) What fictional character do you think most resembles you?
None. No author could think of anyone as freaky as me. LOL.

5) What book have you read the most times in your life?
Almost ALL my books have been re-read 123456789 times.

6) What was your favorite book when you were ten years old?
Enid Blyton’s short stories series.

7) What is the worst book you’ve read in the past year?
Devil Wears Prada. I don’t really remember but I remembered I had a strong hatred of the boringness of that lame Devil Wears Prada book. Waste of money. But the movie was fun :D

8 ) What is the best book you’ve read in the past year?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Some books by Meg Cabot (can’t remember the tittles), Neil Gaiman’s Smokes & Mirrors, Good Omen, Howl’s Moving Castle, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Coraline. LOADS. I don’t read like.. 5 books a year, FYI.

9) If you could force everyone you tagged to read one book, what would it be?
The Thesaurus

10) Who deserves to win the next Nobel Prize for literature?
ROALD DAHL… Enid Blyton, Phillip Pullman (only when he improves on making his stories end HAPPILY)

11) What book would you most like to see made into a movie?
None. I prefer reading.

But if it were to be an animation… I’d love to watch Castle in The Air & House of Many Ways. They’re splendid.

12) What book would you least like to see made into a movie?
None. I wouldn’t be interested to watch it anyway.

13) Describe your weirdest dream involving a writer, book, or literary character.
None. Serious.

14) What is the most lowbrow book you’ve read as an adult?
PETER AND JANE. Hahaha. I was staying at my aunt’s and helping her with the kindergarten so it’s natural to read Peter & Jane. :D

15) What is the most difficult book you’ve ever read?
Anything historical. I couldn’t stop myself from SLEEPING.

16) What is the most obscure Shakespeare play you’ve seen?
Macbeth. My mum performed it in front of me a MILLION times. She was a drama-ian during her youth.

Okay, I know that doesn’t count. But who cares.

17) Do you prefer the French or the Russians?
French. I love the stories. I love the language. And the songs.

18) Roth or Updike?
Who?

19) David Sedaris or Dave Eggers?
Who?

20) Shakespeare, Milton, or Chaucer?
Shakespeare! I happen to like Mr William here very much okay!

21) Austen or Eliot?
Eliot ELIOT! I’m never interested in Austen nor any movies from her books.

22) What is the biggest or most embarrassing gap in your reading?
Ever since I entered UTP. The best thing I borrowed from the IRC was Onmibus by Roald Dahl and that’s about it. How embarrassing when I came home and saw all the GREAT books I missed out on or watching movies and someone goes… “You know, it was adapted from a book!” and I hadn’t got a clue.

23) What is your favorite novel?
Hmm. This is HARD. For NOW, it has got to be His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman.

24) Play?
Does Cats count? HAHAHAHA. How lame can I be.

25) Poem?
ANYTHING by Roald Dahl. My class did a choral speaking based on his poems, boyyyyy, was I hooked!

26) Essay?
Anything by ME. And a few close buddies who write better than me.

27) Short story?
Of Bunga Telur & Bally Shoes. HAHAHA kidding. But I do like that. Hmm. I think it’s Umbrella Man by Roald Dahl (almost anything by Roald Dahl & Neil Gaiman – AWESOME). I used that story for my drama. But of course it was modified.

28) Work of non-fiction?
YUCK. I am one who HATES non-fiction books. NEVER interested.

Okay.

Maybe one. Which is the Horrible Science series. OMG I LOVE EM HAHAHAHA. I don’t even care if it’s counted or not.

29) Who is your favorite writer?
Roald Dahl, Dan Brown, Phillip Pullman, JK Rowling…. Diana Wynne Jones, Neil Gaimon, Enid Blyton, Sophie Kinsella, Mark Haddon.. TOO TOO TOO MANY.

30) Who is the most overrated writer alive today?
Stephenie Meyer. Seriously.

31) What is your desert island book?
No. No book. BOOKS. And I’ll bring my WHOLE room along.

32) And … what are you reading right now?
A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon, Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones (rereading), Castle in The Air by DWJ and Eldest by Christopher Paolini. Yeah, I multi-read. Excluding the daily newspapers.

To-read list : BRISNGR (omg!) by CP, Inkspell Trilogy by Cornelia Funke, Remember Me by Sophie Kinsella, There’s Something Wrong With Me by Nigel Smith and 888 more books.
