Le Cookie Chirps

Today I went to Camp 5 at One Utama for rock climbing and bouldering with Bee and Bron and Bron’s friend, Kae Yi.

It was FUN. I love ‘lasak’ activities like these.. Kayaking.. Jungle trekking.. Skating.. and Abseiling is total LOVE :)

First Bee taught me the basics of falling and spotting and then we went bouldering. I got to the top pretty easily because it was the big ‘rocks’ to hold on to, but I didn’t go over and jump at the other end because I got too scared at the height >.>

The guy standing is called a spotter.

Then we went bouldering at the inner parts. They’re a little harder though.

I got to the top on the boulder to the left but then I didn’t know how to get down so Bee told me to jump..

So I jumped.

After that, we went rock climbing.

I climbed the one in the middle, Bee was my belay and she did an awesome job, I felt so secured climbing.

Oh and yes, I made it to the very top :)

Hey, it’s my very FIRST time rock climbing, that’s good okay! I didn’t even take so long. Maybe less than 15 minutes. I think :P

Then we went to do more bouldering and just chill while she climbed. We tried the wall on the other side to the right and we both got stuck halfway because seriously, it was hard (for me lah). There’s nothing to grab on (totally empty in the middle) and the next rock was too faraway!

I tried like 2 or 3 times and argh. So tiring!

Left at 5pm, ate some snacks and mummy picked me up at 530pm.

Overall, I’d definitely go rock climbing again. Bouldering, maybe just a little. It’s really really super duper fun.

And I’m going skating with Viggy on Friday! I can’t wait! CANNOT WAIT I TELL YOU.
