Le Cookie Chirps

I’m wallowing in the thoughts of hunger while downloading songs for my mom when I came across this slideshow from RD’s website and I couldn’t help but thinking, wow, these are mostly very true for me as I taught in a kindy for 2 solid months before. I wake up at 5am from Monday-Saturday and I go home at odd hours depending on my aunt and I deal with all sorts of kids.

Some commenters said that we must be very unsatisfied with our jobs and all but that’s not really the case. I mean, no matter how much you love your job, you would still have some negative issues with it even though one tiny thing would make your day despite it all. It goes same for us.

Awwh I miss my teaching days all too much and I still remember each and every student that I taught. I still blabber on about them to random people I meet and I tend to get a little carried away until you can see the bored expressions on their faces and that stupid fake smile to show that they ‘understood’ or ‘care’.

Pffah.

I miss the smiles and voices and how they sneak up to your lap when you’re not looking and those cute giggles that melt your heart like fire.

Anyway, I need to log off now because my hands are actually shaking from hunger and my gums are THROBBING and I’m shivering because I’m hungry, sleepy and having cramps.

I haven’t been able to eat properly because the gum at the end of the right side of my teeth is swollen and a new tooth is coming out. So the only food that I had all day was porridge with.. soy sauce and pepper.

As in plain white saltless porridge.

And loads of water and green tea.

And of all days, my mom made roast chicken for dinner.

ARGH.

*bleep*
