Honestly, this semester has been so funny because Dr P & Ms E are awesome lecturer! I enjoy almost every class we have! It would be even better if I actually took time to write all the funny lines down but I am too lazy jotting down notes or laughing, but here is a line from Malaysian Studies which is hilarious.
(If you actually know what it means lah ;P)
During Malaysian Studies presentation :
Presenter : Not much are known about these people (Orang Asli). Because they are hidden in the jungle.
Kai Lee : Object permanence*!
*object permanence – Knowing an object still exists even though it cannot be seen, touch or heard.

We are in the midst of IO lecture. We just finished an activity – boat making. Which of course, is in relation to the subject (teamwork). My goodness, seriously, my class is hilarious.
I should have jotten down all the funny snippets.. if I wasn’t too busy laughing.
Yes lah, cut me some slack, I have CMH report due tomorrow and IO report due on Friday and IO presentation on Thursday.
So stress can die.

This week has been hectic. Seriously just crazy.
I’ve been reaching home late at night almost everyday because I need to make appointments for (IO Psych assignment) observation and interview sessions with vets. So my parents had to drive me around after classes end. Anyway, Madhaha and I did our obs/int session with Dr Hasnul yesterday. It was awesome! We took us around the clinic and we got to observe him consulting 2 clients. The best part was we got to play with the cats! We love cats :)
The next session is tomorrow with Dr Intan. Hope that it will go as well and smooth! I cannot wait to meet Eva (her Persian)! And all her other cats/kittens. They’re so cute and fluffy.
~
Today I went skating with Farrah, Madhaha and Maisarah. It was my first time meeting Mai and it was really nice because now I have a new skating buddy! Hehe!
And today was one of my best skating trips because we went early in the morning where there was hardly anyone and the ice was simply amazing. Smooth and dry. How can you top that? Smooth ice! And it is DRY! With less than 10 people in the rink!
Even though there were French kids running around making the rink look like a kindergarten (Sow, 2010), I enjoyed today very much. I skated well! Plus, I can do my forward crossovers! On my right foot, that is. My left was.. hell. I fell once when I crossed on my left. And I fell on my knees when I tripped on my toe pick during one of my crossovers. And I think I fell another 2 times doing my lunge.
My pivot is weird. I can hook the ice well with my left foot but not my right. And my T-stop? I can mini break on with my left feet rather than my right. Because when I scrape the ice with my right feet, I was only using my toepick but Frrh said that I improved with nearly my full blade touching the ice (Note : NEARLY), so I guess it’s going somewhere. I used to be able to do lunges with full blade scrapings but I never practise. So, PRACTISE IS VERY IMPORTANT. Or else you will rust like me.
On the other hand, I taught myself something new today! I can skate with both skates in a straight line! WOO HOO! I’ve always wanted to do that, when I watch all those skaters on tv, when they make their entrance/exit, they’ll start gliding with their blades in one line. I’ve been trying that but I always end up nearly falling sideways.
=___=
Anyhoo, I can do it now! Without touching the sides! And although I end up stopping after 5 seconds of gliding, at least I feel very confident of not falling. And it is straight. One line.
:D
Small achievement but gooooo Pinkie!
My three turn is still like crap. I can do it when I’m at the railing. Like a perfect turn. You can even see the pattern on the ice. And it’s the correct one. And when I am holding onto the railings, I can balance perfectly on my rocker but when I let go, I just feel like falling. Tragic-ness.
~
I’ve CMH and IO reports due next week. And another 3K word term paper (approx 12 – 13 pages?) for Developmental due the following week. Oh, and Social’s social experiment proposal.
SO MUCH WORK. SO LITTLE TIME.
But I really can’t wait for the next skating trip! So I can practise more! Whee.

I think the next time I change my hairstyle, I’ll go back to having full front bangs, straighten it and leave my curly hair.. curly. But I think it’ll have to wait till my hair is longer. It takes so long to grow long curly hair. The curls fool you into thinking that your hair is short but it’s actually long. I’m currently having medium length curly hair. I’ve waited almost a year to grow it back from my rebonding days. I hope I won’t ever, ever straighten my hair ever again. It’s really easy to maintain when it’s straight and I love having straight hair but to outgrow it.. OMG the torture.
However, I do miss my straight-haired days. It rocked hehe ;)
Gosh. I really want my hair to be like the picture above. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
And I oh-so-very love Kim Kardashian. Guilty pleasure, you guys.
;)
Will blog again soon. I hope.

(P/S : Oh, by the way, have you guys listened to the new season of Glee? They’re amazing! Albeit just a few songs, I cannot, cannot wait for more to come!)

Dead – The perfect word for my blog.
I am so unmotivated to do anything. I have not started ANY of my 8 major major major assignments. I only have 4 unread journals for Developmental’s essay when I should be hunting for Social ones. And worse of all, I am at the final part of Nancy Drew : Secret of Shadow Ranch (I blame you Frrh heh heh no don’t kill me please I beg you) in less than 2 days.
But don’t worry, I stopped playing it because I can’t find the last key.
I made caramel custard with a tinge of orange zest last night and it turned out goooooooood.
:)
And I am happy because my best friend, Mimosa Pudica aka Nabs, got a place to intern at ‘Ber Jay’.
And it’s in KL.
Ya-hoo.

P/S : Oh I hope tomorrow’s gonna be an awesome awesome day ;F
